Radisson - Seven Seas Navigator:

Her shining new prow receives the kiss of champagne. A band plays, speeches are made and waves part to send her on her way. This summer, a vision becomes a reality as the new Seven Seas Navigator sails on course to new horizons. Her quest will lead discriminating travelers on marvelous voyages, awakening the soul to the spirit of discovery.

According to Einstein, space is curved. It may be his theory of nature of our universe that influenced the talented architects who designed the interior spaces of the Seven Seas Navigator. It is difficult to imagine a more expansive view than that which greets you in the soaring Atrium of the Navigator. Curvilinear walls of glass and stairways cantilevering into a vast column of vertical space reaching toward the firmanent give one the ethereal sensation of being liberated from the constraints of earth.

Creating a dining establishment is no simple task. First, it takes the imagination and creativity of an inspired chef. Add to this a serene setting elegantly designed to welcome diners with an ambience and taste of comfort. Aboard the Seven Seas Navigator, you will find two such establishments: the Compass Rose Restaurant (left) and the Portofino Grill. Our designers and executive chef have meticulously assembled all the essential elements for a superb dining experience.

In the two-tiered Seven Seas Lounge, you could believe that you'd stepped into a sophisticated 1930's nightclub. Yet this wonderfully-evocative nightspot boasts all the computer assisted technical accouterments of the year 2000! Window walls of crystal glass overlook the sea and sleekly-styled armchairs invite you to relax and enjoy a libation. Your attention is drawn to the almost full-size proscenium stage, curtained and swagged in brilliant orange and navy moire taffeta.

Step into one of the glass-walled elevators and ride topside to the uppermost deck of the ship to the Vista Lounge. If you were a navigator on a ship of old, you'd want to shoot your azimuth sightings from this room, because the views are as wide as the horizon during the day and as breathtaking as the heavens on a star-filled night. It's like being aloft in a crow's nest - in fact, the mast of the Navigator forms the backbone of the Vista Lounge, a dramatic element in an already spectacular room.

As we approach the new millennium, M/S Seven Seas Navigator will embark on an exploration of one of the most extraordinary and diverse lands on our planet, South America.

The Indians of Peru have retained their cultural heritage for many centuries, in what they refer to as "The Land of Abundance."

More than 105 species of birds are home to the spectacular mountains of Torres del Paine National Park in Chile.

Thousands of lush islands, pristine beaches and translucent blue-green water comprise the 750,000 square mile area known as the Caribbean.

Argentine gauchos herb cattle on the vast pampas, the treeless plains of South America.
